Overview
AKB48's new theater production "Yume no Pop Star" (Dream of a Pop Star) begins August 7, 2026 (Friday) at AKB48 Theater in Akihabara. The show centers on the theme of "singing ability," revisiting the fundamentals of singing and dancing that define an idol group.
Unlike previous theater productions, this show introduces a new format in which only members who pass a vocal ability audition are allowed to perform.
Highlights
