Overview
The "2nd Izumibashi Koinobori Festival" will be held on May 5, 2026, in the Izumibashi area of Akihabara. Hours are 10:00–17:00, in the stretch between Izumibashi Branch Office and Chiyoda Seiga Nursery.
An announcement has been posted on the Chiyoda-ku bulletin board, stating that koinobori (carp streamers) will be displayed across the road between Izumibashi Branch Office and Chiyoda Seiga Nursery.
Highlights
This event features koinobori hung along the local street, allowing visitors to enjoy the seasonal scenery in the neighborhood during Children's Day. Organized by the Izumibashi Koinobori Festival Executive Committee. In case of rain, the event will be changed to a display inside Izumibashi Branch Office. After the event, koinobori will continue to be displayed inside Izumibashi Branch Office from May 6 to May 16, 2026.
