A pop-up event celebrating the 32nd anniversary of Square Enix's RPG LIVE A LIVE runs from September 4 (Fri) to September 13 (Sun), 2026, at the 9th-floor event space of Shosen Book Tower in Akihabara. The game originally released on September 2, 1994, and was remade as an HD-2D title in 2022.
Details
The pop-up sells new merchandise fully supervised by scenario writer Takashi Tokita, along with a collaboration collection with apparel brand Peace and After. Alongside venue-exclusive goods, the event displays hand-drawn canvas art depicting pixel-art versions of the game's eight protagonists. Novelties are offered with qualifying purchases, and a message board is set up at the venue.
