The U.S.-born robot combat event REK will make its Japan debut in Akihabara. The event will be held at BelleSalle Akihabara B1F on July 25, 2026.
Highlights
REK is a robot fighting sport in which humanoid robots are remotely controlled using VR equipment and fight inside an octagonal ring. The Akihabara event uses Unitree's G1 humanoid robot and is split into daytime and evening sessions.

- Evening main fights run from 15:00 to 18:00 as a full-contact tournament
