Overview
The 8th edition of ASCII editorial department's real-world event "TOKYO Gaming-PC STREET" will be held at LIFORK Akihabara II on Saturday, July 4, 2026. Starting with this edition, the event's short name has been renewed from "TGS" to "GPS."
The venue is the 1st floor of LIFORK Akihabara II. Admission and viewing are free.
Highlights
The venue offers hands-on display and trial corners covering not just gaming PCs but a wide range of gaming gadgets that visitors can pick up and try. Planned activities include novelty giveaways, a large lottery with extravagant prizes, a prize-linked puzzle game, and mini stage segments. The event welcomes beginners, offering a chance to compare and consult on real hardware before buying.
Admission is by advance reservation (free to join). Entry may be restricted depending on same-day congestion; a small number of same-day entry slots will be available, but advance reservation is recommended for guaranteed participation. A fixed-point camera livestream covering the whole venue is also planned, so visitors may appear on camera while inside.
