Overview
The Akihabara Electric Town Promotion Association's campaign "Summer Akihabara Electric Town Festival 2026" runs from Friday, June 26 through Sunday, July 26, 2026.
The Electric Town Festival is a recurring campaign that gives shopping vouchers and goods to people who shop in Akihabara. This edition collaborates with the popular anime "Re:Zero - Starting Life in Another World."
Highlights
Anyone who spends ¥3,000 (tax included) or more at a participating store can draw one lottery ticket on the spot. Winners include 100 people receiving a ¥10,000 shopping voucher, 1,000 people receiving a ¥3,000 shopping voucher, and 500 people receiving an original poster.
Campaign participants can also receive a special uchiwa fan, available to the first 40,000 people while supplies last. Winning shopping vouchers can only be used at participating Electric Town Festival stores and are valid through Sunday, August 2, 2026.
During the campaign, following the Akihabara Electric Town X account (@akiba_denkigai) and reposting a designated post enters participants into a drawing for a special flag (an actual flag displayed during the event) for 10 winners, and a signed poster for 3 winners. The campaign also features visits from "Miss Akiba" to participating stores, and a downloadable "Akiba Walking Map" showing all participating stores.
