Overview
The Kanda Curry Town Revitalization Committee is holding the 14th Kanda Curry Grand Prix 2026 Final on Saturday, October 31 and Sunday, November 1, 2026, at Ogawa Hiroba in Kanda Ogawamachi, Chiyoda Ward. About 400 restaurants around Kanda serve curry, and the 20 shops selected in a preliminary fan vote that closed September 10 will serve their signature curries at the venue.
Details
- Each curry purchase comes with one voting ticket, and visitors vote for their favorite shop after tasting
- The Grand Prix, runner-up, third place, and the Kanda Curry Meister Award are decided by vote count
- Special awards are also given by a panel of curry experts
- Violinist NAOTO, known as a big curry fan, joins the judges and appears in a talk show
Akihabara shops such as Curry Shokudo Kokoro Akihabara and Curry Shop C&C Akihabara are among the finalists.
The Kanda Curry Town Stamp Rally 2026, a curry-shop walking tour of Kanda, also runs from August 1 to December 20.
