Overview
"VTUBER EXPO 2026" will be held in Akihabara during the Golden Week holiday period. The venue is Bellesalle Akihabara 1F, running for two days from May 3 to 4, 2026.
Marking the 10th anniversary since the birth of VTubers in 2016, this large-scale event is billed as an immersive expo where attendees can experience the current state and future of VTuber culture. It is designed not only for existing fans, but also for first-timers and inbound tourists.
Highlights
For this event, FUURYUUFES 5.0 has been confirmed as a sponsor, and a special four-sided LED "FUURYUUFES" booth will be set up inside the venue. An immersive experience that feels like stepping into a live festival space where real and virtual converge is planned.
In addition, an Akihabara-wide campaign linked with Emotion Artist "JYuno" will run from April 29 to May 10, 2026. This includes CM broadcasts on the Onoden X Vision and Radi-Kan Vision screens, plus a campaign where customers spending ¥1,000 or more (tax included) at any of 30 Akihabara stores receive one original postcard.
At the main event, a special booth featuring Kizuna AI Inc., a stage event on May 3 hosted by "Baacharu," and venue-limited merchandise are all planned. Merchandise includes acrylic stands and acrylic keychains using newly photographed 3D visuals, heart-shaped badge gashapon, plastic partner cards from the new card game "NEXUS," and EXPO-limited T-shirts.
