Overview
Kaidan storyteller Ayumu Shirotani's solo show "Zenshin Zenrei Vol.5: The Essence of Shirotani-bushi - Kaifu Ruidan" will be held at Akihabara UDX Theater on July 24 and 25, 2026.
This year's theme is "Kaifu Ruidan". The show presents the eerie, frightening, and tearful elements of kaidan through Shirotani's narration and theater production.
Highlights
The event consists of three performances: July 24 at 19:00, July 25 at 13:00, and July 25 at 18:00. Each performance is planned to feature different kaidan stories.
The second part will include a classical kaidan piece performed with Satsuma biwa player Kyoji Maruyama. Event merchandise such as new T-shirts, tenugui towels, photo books, sticker sets, and acrylic stands will also be sold at the venue. Tickets went on sale via TicketPay at 10:00 on May 7, 2026.
