The 15th anniversary festival "Atsurae" for the craft district "2k540 AKI-OKA ARTISAN" runs September 26–October 4, 2026 (closed September 30), bringing together about 50 makers for made-to-order events.
"Disk1," a workshop shop blending fashion and cats, opened on August 1, 2026 at "2k540 AKI-OKA ARTISAN," a commercial facility run by JR East Urban Development. The shop doubles as a workshop where visitors can watch the making process.
Yazzie Taise will hold a handmade compact wallet workshop on June 21, June 28, and July 11, 2026. Participants can choose leather, buttons, and stitching thread to make a compact wallet near Akihabara Station.
The workshop "Let's Make No-Sew Leather Goods" will be held at Monodzukuri-kan by YKK on June 13, 2026. Participants use tweezers to connect YUKIZNA pieces and make either a pen case or pouch in this reservation-only leather craft experience.
The crafts event "2k540 Fanfare ~Made in Koukashita~ 2026" will be held at 2k540 AKI-OKA ARTISAN from May 22 to May 24, 2026. Features a product idea contest, quiz & stamp map, Niki flea market, and workshop events.
A workshop titled "Let's Make a Smartphone Pochette with Sparkling Zippers!" will be held on May 2, 2026, at Monodzukuri-kan by YKK. Participants will sew 2.5 meters of zipper — using Aurora Light and metallic coil elements — to create a pochette.
