Overview
"August 19 Is Bike Day: HAVE A BIKE DAY," a motorcycle event hosted by the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association and the Japan Motorcycle Promotion & Safety Association, will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 14:00 to 20:00 at Akihabara UDX 2F's "Akiba Square." Now in its 18th year, admission is free.
Exhibits
Alongside the latest models from Japan's four major manufacturers (Kawasaki, Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha), the event displays the "new-standard mopeds" introduced under 2025's regulatory revision (Honda's "Super Cub 110 Lite" and Yamaha's "JOG ONE"), the four manufacturers' machines that raced in the July 2026 Suzuka 8 Hours endurance race, the latest police motorcycle "NT1100P," and the electric police motorcycle "WN7" that led the 2026 Hakone Ekiden.
Guests and Stage Program
Special guest talent/model Yuji and guest MC Natsumi Hirashima (a "JAPAN RIDERS" ambassador for the Japan Motorcycle Promotion & Safety Association) will appear, with trial rider Masaya Ujikawa performing an electric trial bike demonstration. Stage events will be livestreamed on YouTube.
