Overview
Robata Ishikura, located in the row near Akibao Zero in Akihabara, will temporarily close after business on Friday, October 2, 2026. The closure is for a format renewal as it merges with its sister store Chuka Sabo Banri, which operates in the same row.
Details
After about a month of renovation, the new store THE Machi Chuka Ishikura Banri is scheduled to open in early November. It will combine Chinese diner know-how with popular existing dishes such as beef tendon bowls and tuna bowls, serving lunch during the day and operating as an izakaya from the evening.
Impact on Customers
- Lunch coupon books: Sales have ended. They remain valid at Chuka Sabo Banri and at the renewed Ishikura Banri. Refunds are 850 yen per ticket, handled at Chuka Sabo Banri from October 3
- Stamp cards: October 2 is the last day for stamps. Unused stamps can be used at Chuka Sabo Banri from October 3
- 10% campaign discount coupons: Usable at Chuka Sabo Banri within their validity period from October 3
- Bottle keep: Transferred to Chuka Sabo Banri from October 3, then to Ishikura Banri after the renewal (bottles older than six months were cleared at the end of September)
